Camile
My name is Camile Amoy Edwards, I’m a Jamaican born and a self-taught fluid pour artist currently living in Canada.
I’m more of an unconventional artist using non traditional tools to achieve the most unique effects in my art.
Where I have eliminated the use of a paint brush, I use simple tools such as spoon, drinking straws, ball-chains, skewers, paper napkins, kitchen torch and blow dryers. Using these unconventional tools broadens the spectrum of the fluid art process. They allow me to use elements such as water, air, fire and gravity to achieve a desired look I’m going for.
Art has always been my way of expressing myself from my youthful years. I’m so inspired by nature’s beauty and this is why I decided to capture it in my art.
Exploring and experimenting in various pour painting techniques widen the creative side of my brain. I love Bold and Vibrant Colours this helps to surround me with positive thoughts and vibrations.
It is through these positiveness that I hope to be connected with others. My ultimate goal is to stay positive, stay creative and be connected with those who share the same attributes.
